Canada Greener Homes Grant

New Program Subsidizes Existing Homes Energy Assessment and Retrofits

Wasser Resources Inc. is delighted to announce the launch of the “Canada Greener Home Grant”.

Canada Greener Homes is designed to reduce Canadian home owner energy costs while helping Canada to achieve its climate change goals.

In order to participate in this opportunity, homeowners need to register on the program website.

They then also enroll to engage the services of a specially trained Registered Energy Advisor (REA).

The REA visits their house performs to perform an energy audit to assess opportunities for savings.

The home owner can then select contractors qualified to undertake the retrofits they want.

Once the energy retrofit is completed, the REA returns to the house to complete and authorize the completion of the work.

The homeowner can then apply for two grants, one valued up to $600 for the energy audit and a second, up to $5,000 for the value of the retrofit.

Resilient World Institute (RWI) School of Energy, where Leon Wasser Serves as the Director, is one of the few places to train to become an NRcan Registered Energy Advisor, an excellent career option.

Several Wasser Resources Inc. technologies are excellent energy retrofit investments for this program:
