March 5-8, 2017: Wasser Resources Inc. actively participated in the 2017 annual Toronto conference of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada (PDAC), the world’s largest international gathering for the mining sector.
A major focus for Wasser Resources Inc. at this event was the further development of relationships with Canada’s northern indigenous communities, government agencies and the mining sector to explore opportunities to implement large scale renewable energy solutions in remote locations.
Traditionally, remote areas of Canada have used highly polluting and difficult to service diesel generators. Wasser Resources now offers a complete portfolio of innovative renewable energy solutions which can provide both electrical power and heat for even the most difficult to serve communities and facilities.
During PDAC, Wasser Resources expanded its long-standing partnership with Enshift Energy Inc. to include two new partners – the developer of the most advanced large scale hydro fuel cells on the market and a innovative funder of large scale infrastructure projects.
HCI Energy has developed nique containerized hydrogen fuel cells for remote facilities. A key model for the mining industry is shipped completed in a standard twenty foot freight container. This model generates 1.5 megawatt of power while producing 3,000 US gallons of purified water and medical grade oxygen. Other units are available contained in ten foot and 40 foot containers.
Ignite Infrastructure Funding Association Inc., is a totally innovative a new funding not-for-profit agency to the broad public sector for major infrastructure investment projects. Ignite was established to fund major capital projects, especially deferred maintenance projects, for the MUSH sector – comprising Municipalities, Universities, Schools and Hospitals. Nowhere in Canada’s broad public sector is maintenance renewal and upgrading more urgent than in in Indigenous communities across the country. Ignite will be funding all types of infrastructure renewal projects, but a special focus will be applied to energy, water and facilities, where the needs are greatest and the opportunities for major quality of life improvements are also significant.
In conjunction with these developments, Wasser resources is offering a broad array of other renewable energy technologies including:
- EcoWave Power which uses ocean waves to generate power
- EnerDynamic EnerCube portable rapid assembly micro wind turbines
- Energy from Waste Combined Heat and Power (CHP) Generators
- Globe Solar Energy vacuum tube based solar hot water systems designed for winter use
- HCI Hydrogen Fuel Cells to both generate power and produce potable water
- Oryon Run-of-the-River Hydro Electric Turbines which are immersed on river bottoms
- Solar Shingles Canada permanent modular steel photovoltaic roofing systems
