Presented By: Robert Stasko, P.Eng.,,

Chair, Hydrogen Business Council of Canada

For decades, Canada has been the global leader in researching, developing and producing hydrogen fuel cells and related technologies. Companies from across Canada such as Ballard Technologies, Hydrogenics and Next Hydrogen have developed a wide array of hydrogen fuel cell technologies being used in buses in China, trains in Germany and multiple applications in Canada. Domestically we have seen growth in the market for Canadian designed and built hydrogen fuel cell and fuel production for applications as varied as northern mines, massive distribution centre forklifts, transit buses and emergency power. In recent months Quebec and British Columbia have made major commitments to the adoption of hydrogen electric zero emission vehicles beginning with the development of networks of hydrogen fueling stations, a prerequisite of large scale hydrogen vehicle commercialization. Come learn about the new revolution in transportation and how Canada continues to lead it!
